The Wall

Technically, this is not my art, but it is my way of saying THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LIKING MY CHARACTERS!!!!

This little piece of wall displays art people have drawn for the characters of my upcoming webcomic project, Thorns! I am so greatful to have friends and Watchers such as yourself, who are filled with so much talent and energy, and are generally huge sweetie-pies, so this is a big thanks to you! 

Thorns has come a really long way since my days in 8th grade doodling a little steampunk girl, and I am so grateful for the group of people who've taken an interest in this ongoing project about a world of rebels, punks, criminals, nerds, steampunk, history, literature, magic, and mad science! 

I hope to bring you more content soon! I had vague plans to finally fine-tune a final draft of Chapter One and let you read it, but with all the revisions I still have to do, and all the work I'm piled with in my senior year of high school, I think next year will be a better year to bring you the best comic I can possibly make, when I'll finally have enough time to draw it better, and think more about dialogue. As of now, the current drafts don't contain new characters and integral plot points, or still have things I have not yet removed, and might devolve into something not entirely worthy of awesome people like you to read.

Without further ado, let me curate this amazing little collection!! 

The top left one, and the one below it, were drawn by my friend Ellie. I don't think she has a dA account, but she is on Twitter as @ eIIiephant (the two L's in the username are actually capital i's). The top one is of my small crime bbies Jamie and Seb (they have little hearts around them! And Seb needs to address his smoking habit, goddamnit). The one below it shows Jamie standing with Ellie's still-unnamed OC (we were chatting about the OC, and about Jamie, when it suddenly occurred to her that they have swapped colour palettes! Jamie has blue-green hair and a red suit, and this alien boi has blue-green skin and pink-red hair. So I drew them standing next to each other, and then she drew this image of them with swapped clothes. Hence, Jamie is wearing a yellow top, and the small bean on the right is in Jamie's signature red suit.)

Her art is so cute, I just cannot even!!

On the top right is Vivyi 's drawing of Jamie and Seb! It was a birthday gift, and I love it SO MUCH!!!! Like Ellie, her drawing was so on point with the character designs, and hella cute! And Vivyi shades things like an art goddess.

Below that, is PatchesWolf 's drawing of Irene! It was part of an art trade (I drew her adorable OC, Hazel!). It's so cute and so pretty, and her face is super on point! Also, I feel like Irene might totally rip the sleeves off of a Victorian dress, because she is Hardcore™

The bottom three drawings are all by ItsLaurasLife ! The one on the left is a redraw of an old pic of Frankie crushing Mary and Victor into a loving hug (and Victor being unamused). The colourful one is of Queen Vicky, Mary Shelley, Ada Lovelace, and Elizabeth "Eliza" Lavenza. Also, proof that Laura is better than me at drawing some cartoon flower details, tbh. 

The bottom one is her drawing of a small kid Ada.

Laura's art is?? So cute??? And I miss her? Is she still active? Laura? Can you hear me? Are you alive and okay?

Anyway, I'd like so say once again: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SUPPORT AND FANART!! I doubt this project would've gotten anywhere without the support from my friends and Watchers! Thank you! 

If you drew art and it wasn't displayed here, please tell me! It may likely have been because of time restraints before I printed these little ones, or I'd forgotten about it due to busy-ness (or, in the case of at least one artwork, there was an inaccuracy due to older drawings of mine not making certain things clear. Friendly reminder that I do take credit for inaccuracies in older works. This is not just me being a dick though in not printing it, but I find it difficult to explain reasons sometimes).

Please let me know if I also forgot to put your work on my dA profile page, though!! Literally all fanworks go there, since printing is expensive and limits me a bit.

And if you do draw something, be sure to let me know!! I always absolutely love when people draw my characters!! Especially since you're all so amazing at art! I often end up paying people back by drawing their characters for them, and I'll attempt to make time to do that if you decide to make Thorns fanart!
